Crew planning

Your Calexico remote man camp brief

A Calexico remote man camp rental starts with the crew, not the trailer. Count the people who will sleep on site each night, the shift rotation, and the first day they arrive. Work that stretches between Calexico and El Centro may call for beds nearer the job than a base in town, while a project outside Holtville can need its own wash and laundry setup. Send those counts with your inquiry and we match sleeper, shower, restroom and laundry equipment to them.

Remote man camp rentals can start with sleepers alone and add facilities as the job grows. Shower trailers, shower and restroom combinations and standalone restroom trailers stay separate in our quotes, and laundry, mobile kitchens, dishwashing and emergency refrigeration can be added when a permanent facility is not available. Crews working around Imperial and Brawley can ask for the same configurations.

Past emergency for Calexico projects

Recovery after the 2023 flood declaration (FEMA EM-3592)

FEMA's declaration records list "Severe Winter Storms, Flooding, Landslides, And Mudslides" (EM-3592) as a emergency declaration for Imperial County. The incident began on March 9, 2023 and ended on July 10, 2023, and the declaration was made on March 10, 2023. This is a county-level record for Calexico planning. A comparable cleanup plan can start with overnight staffing, laundry needs and a receiving area for temporary equipment. A past event does not mean there is a need today.

Major construction for Calexico projects

GATEWAY SUBSTATION BANK #2 ADDITION PROJECT

CEQAnet received a Notice of Exemption from Imperial Irrigation District on August 8, 2025, for "GATEWAY SUBSTATION BANK #2 ADDITION PROJECT" in Calexico, near Pan American Street and Rood Road. The record describes it as: This project involves installing a new 28 MVA transformer at the Gateway Substation's second bank. This upgrade is essential to meet the growing demand for Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and to support anticipated capacity requirements for future projects in the area. The exemption filing alone does not establish the current work phase; confirm the schedule with the project owner. For a comparable remote build, confirm how many workers need overnight accommodation before adding hygiene, laundry and meal facilities.

Equipment access for Calexico projects

Emergency access: official information and road checks

Cal OES places Imperial County in Mutual Aid Region VI, part of its Southern Administrative Region, based in Los Alamitos. During complex emergencies such as wildfires, floods and earthquakes, Cal OES regional staff work alongside local emergency managers in county or city Emergency Operations Centers to coordinate state resources. Before a trailer delivery, check live road conditions: Caltrans QuickMap shows real-time traffic cameras, lane closures and road conditions. Use these public emergency-management and road resources when checking the site. Delivery access and dates for your Calexico site are confirmed in the written quote.

Emergency remote man camp and shower and restroom combination rentals in Calexico

Some rentals cannot wait for a planned schedule. A wildfire or flood recovery that fills local lodging around Calexico, a failed commercial walk-in freezer at a kitchen in El Centro, or a crew that arrives early near Holtville all start the same way: call the 24-hour line and tell us the location, the headcount and what has failed. We then confirm availability, delivery and setup on a written quote.

Every refrigeration call is an emergency: a commercial walk-in freezer or refrigeration unit has broken down. Say so when you call and we start with the cold-storage need.

How it works

How a Calexico remote camp rental works

  1. 1

    Plan delivery around your property

Share the receiving address, gate and grade details so delivery and placement can be planned. Whether the site is in Calexico or out toward El Centro, access decides how the trailers arrive.

  2. 2

Call 24/7 for urgent rental needs

The line is open 24 hours a day. For an urgent camp or a failed cooler near Holtville, tell us the location and what you need first.

  3. 3

    Facilities for life between shifts

Pair sleepers with showers, laundry and meals, even for a remote site past Imperial, so the crew has what it needs where it stays.

  4. 4

Short rentals and longer trailer leases

Rental periods start at one week and run monthly. Longer leases for a project near Brawley are quoted against the work phase.

  5. 5

Compare sleeper and bunk bed layouts

Shared rooms and separate rooms suit different rotations. We confirm bed counts and layout on your quote, whether the crew is based in Calexico or Westmorland.

  6. 6

Plan for delivery, servicing and collection

Name a site contact for delivery, servicing and collection, for a Calexico job or one near Calipatria, and we write those arrangements into the quote.

Questions

Calexico remote man camp and shower and restroom combination rental questions

Can I rent a camp in Calexico for just a few weeks?

Yes. Rental periods start at one week and run monthly, so a short recovery or renovation near Calexico or El Centro can be quoted for the weeks you need. Longer leases for work near Holtville are quoted by project.

What do I need to plan for power and water in Calexico?

Electrical needs differ by unit, and showers, laundry and kitchens also need water in and wastewater out. For a site outside Calexico or near Imperial, the sleeping position needs its own supply or a plan for one, and we confirm the requirement for your actual units on the quote.

Do camp trailers need permits in Calexico?

Often, and the rules depend on the city or county, the use and the equipment. Check with the building, fire and health authorities for Calexico, or the city nearest the site such as Brawley, before delivery.

Can you deliver to cities near Calexico?

We quote California sites, including El Centro and Holtville and the rest of the area. Delivery time, route and access are confirmed on your written quote.

What should I send for a quote in Calexico?

The project location, for example Calexico or Westmorland, plus crew size, equipment, start date, rental length and whether power, water and sewer are on site. A short call to the 24-hour line is enough to start.
